This armoire comes apart into 6 pieces and is easily reassembled:

Top 37 x 8 x 21 1/2"

Door 28 1/2 x 55 1/2 x 1"

Base 37 x 21 1/2 x 12"

Two sides, each measures 21 1/4" x 58 1/2" x 4"

Back 34 1/2 x 55 1/2 x 1"


Danish armoire c.1940 which we have painted in a nice oil based white paint. Gilding is done on the center decoration and the top edges of the sides, although not shown in the photos.

The rod is original. There is 58 3/4" from the top of the rod to the bottom of the interior space. The drawer is dovetailed and smooth sliding.

The sides and front were made of a type of veneer which was popular at the time. You can see that this has given the armoire texture and that it is not smooth. It would like very nice i we could distress the paint a bit, but that would be up to you.

Original brass hardware and working lock.

This armoire comes apart to be moved.

Fully restored, excellent condition.
